“This I Believe” Podcasts with Ms. Baumgarten Ms. Baumgarten recently designed a series of lessons with her class that utilized the library. She worked with them to write and then record podcasts in the library. Students wrote a “This I Believe” statement, practiced and recorded them using Chromebook “Friendly” Speakpipe free online recording tool. We used the library headsets with mics to record. Podcasts were loaded onto the library website into a gallery. Please take a moment to listen to some of these inspiring and insightful statements. Learn more about Giving Voice to Students Through "This I Believe" Podcasts at ReadWriteThink.
Ms. Bowles Bonner Price Map Thinglink Ms. Bowles Boston History classes recently researched Revolutionary Era sites in the library on multi-day visits. On Oct. 13, we took the classes to Boston to photograph Revolutionary War historical sites. Over the next few days, students used the Bonner Price Map on Thinglink to present their information and photographs. Check out two of the projects from Yakob and Joyce & Melissa.. Ms. Bowles recently shared the project in the History Department meeting. Teachers can sign up for a free Thinglink account at https://www.thinglink.com/signup?teacher=true
